Foreign investment has since created an economy which relies on the export of electronics and manufacturing primarily from its port
Culture
Singapore is a small and rel

atively modern society, with an amalgamation of an indigenous Malay population with a majority of third generation Chinese as well as Indian And Arab immigrants. There is little in terms culture that is distinctly Singaporean.Howevser, there exists a Eurasian community and a community of peranakan or “Starits Chinese”,of mixed Chinese and Malay ancestry.Singapore has also achieved a significant degree of cultural diffusion with its unique combination of these ethnic groups, and this has given Singapore`s cuisine, often a cultural attraction among tourist.
